Who We Are

We are a committed non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and teenage mothers in Nigeria by providing access to quality education and vocational training.

Our mission and vision are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 4 & 8), promoting inclusive education and fostering sustainable economic growth. We recognize the unique challenges faced by our target groups—such as poverty, early marriage and pregnancy, lack of support systems, and limited access to education due to distance.

To address these barriers, we offer tailored programs and scholarships that provide second chances and open the door to new opportunities. Our initiatives are designed to break the cycle of poverty and empower beneficiaries to become self-reliant, confident, and active contributors to their communities.

The Problem We Address

Rufemia Foundation tackles poverty by providing education and vocational training to vulnerable children and teenage mothers. Through scholarships and essential learning support, we help children stay in school and reduce the risk of child labor.
Teenage mothers are empowered with practical skills or re-enrolled in adult education, enabling them to secure stable jobs, achieve financial independence, and support their families ultimately breaking the cycle of poverty.
